Motorcycle Servicing and Oil Change in Tbilisi
Scheduled servicing is what keeps a bike out of expensive repair. We service to the manufacturer's mileage intervals, and you always know the price before we start.
What a service includes
- Engine oil change — JASO MA/MA2 oil in the viscosity your model calls for
- Oil filter — with every oil change
- Air filter — replaced or cleaned depending on type
- Spark plugs — read and replaced to schedule
- Chain care — cleaning, lubrication, slack adjustment
- Cables — throttle and clutch lubricated and adjusted
- Fluids — brake fluid and coolant level and condition
- Visual inspection — brakes, tires, leaks, linkages
When servicing is due

Exact intervals depend on the model and we check them against the manufacturer's schedule. City riding and dusty roads shorten them.
Why not to postpone an oil change
A motorcycle engine runs at higher revs than a car engine, and the oil does three jobs at once: it lubricates the engine, cools the clutch and protects the gearbox. Cooked oil kills all three together — first the clutch starts slipping, then the cylinder and piston wear. Saving ten lari on oil routinely ends in a thousand-lari repair.
Mid-tour servicing
Riding a long trip through the Caucasus? An oil change halfway through is cheap insurance, especially after mountain passes where the engine spends hours under load. Email your route dates and model — we will have the right oil and filter ready so the stop takes a couple of hours, not a day.
How a visit goes
- Send your model and mileage — we tell you what your service includes and what it costs.
- You come at the agreed time; a basic service is usually done in 2–4 hours.
- You get the bike with a list of what was done, and the old parts if you want them.
Frequent questions
Which oil suits my bike?
The one the manufacturer specifies: viscosity from the manual, JASO MA/MA2 rating. Send us the model and we will look up the factory spec.
Can I bring my own oil?
Yes, we will use it. If the specification does not suit your bike, we will tell you beforehand.
How often does a chain need attention?
Lubrication every 500–800 km, and immediately after rain; slack checked at every service. Chain and sprocket replacement is on the main service page.
